Live to Give Foundation is a non-profit charity foundation registered in the state of Michigan. It was founded by Ryan Doyle, a 22 year old senior at the University of Michigan, and Kevin Smith, a 21 year old senior at Michigan State University. This charity focuses on real life need and heart-felt caring from people that wish to extend a helping hand to individual families that are temporarily down on their luck.

Live to Give Foundation has chosen to help Bruce Scharfenberg, father to Hanna (11), Grant (13), and Chris (23) and husband to Jill, who is suffering from a rare blood disease called primary amyloidosis that affects about 1 in every 8 million people. Since July of 2007 he has undergone stem-cell transplant and two types of chemotherapy trying to put it in remission.
