Our History

A single domino can change the fate of the rest just as one pebble dropped into a pond can create endless ripples. This idea is the inspiration behind Live to Give Foundation. It is imperative that we acknowledge that we all possess the power to make a change in the world and that with each step, we move in such a direction. These were the founding thoughts in the formation of this charity foundation in October of 2006.

For the remainder of 2006 and most of 2007, the Live to Give message was crafted. This year was dedicated to everything from the colors and fonts to the message and legal work. It took countless hours and days of collaboration between friends and family to create a strong foundation for all the future success that follows.

On November 5, 2007, Live to Give Foundation was launched publicly to friends and family. This group was labeled by the Foundation “The Spark Family” as they symbolize the initial flame that ignites a fire of love, hope and help. It was the feedback and contributions of this initial group that gave Live to Give its first wave of results.

Currently, we are in the process of exploring bigger and better possibilities that include college campus fundraisers and various public events. These opportunities have been searched for by the Live to Give Leadership and also have been offered by kind and generous individuals who saw our charitable efforts as positive and real.

Live to Give Foundation has taken its first successful step by raising $1697 in its first 59 days and gaining 28 contributing members and an additional countless others who have made suggestions, “Paid it Forward”, and personally gave their time and assistance. We, the leadership of this Foundation, are infinitely thankful for these Live To Givers and with your help we can have continued success in helping families who are in need.
